Privacy & responsible use

This page describes the controls in this private release. Formal operator policies, retention schedules, and jurisdiction-specific terms must be established before a public member launch.

Document events, not judgments.

PRIN records member-submitted rental incidents. It does not rate people, make rental eligibility decisions, or recommend approvals, denials, or deposits. Potential matches require independent identity verification.

Limited personal information

Matching uses names and general location. PRIN must not collect SSNs, driver’s-license numbers, dates of birth, financial account information, credit information, background-check results, insurance policy numbers, or copies of renter identity documents. These restrictions apply to all forms, messages, disputes, and attachments. There is no hashed-identifier matching exception.

Access and evidence

Network access requires business verification and active membership. Document uploads are disabled until pre-storage privacy screening and redaction are connected. Any future permitted evidence must exclude all prohibited information. A verified badge reflects business verification, not a guarantee that a submitted report is accurate.

Corrections and disputes

People who believe a record concerns them may request review without purchasing a membership. Identity review occurs before moderator decisions. Changes and moderation actions retain an audit history.

Community guidelines

Share operational experience professionally. Keep renter information out of discussions, avoid unsupported accusations, and respect each business’s independent judgment. Posts and replies enter moderation. Do not organize shared refusal lists.
